Pintail Saturday 8/22

A very humid day at Pintail Point for some sporting clays. I went with 2 guys, one who had never shot a gun before (Brian) and another guy who had only shot twice before that (Matt). I shot 32 Matt shot 34 and Brian who had never shot a real gun before shot 33. I was a little disappointed in my showing but at least I got some shooting in. After shooting we went to lunch at the Jetty. I believe that place has the best fried fish sandwich ever. We should go there more often after goose hunting. Get your practice in now.

Lake Gaston

Another tough week only a few fish. Both my fish were caught on chartruese buzzbaits. My brother in law Dave Caught a 3lber on a Zagara Pup. Both big ones were caught around 8 am. We still have alot to learn. Hunting season starts soon get your licenses and start shooting.

First largemouth of '09 at gaston

My first largemouth in '09 at lake gaston. 10 am weedbed using a chartruese buzzbait. I will be there for a week starting on Saturday so hopefully i will have more/bigger ones to show.
